
May I make changes to a Walter Grey Floor Plan?
Yes! Any changes you want as long as the changes comply with city or county codes and HOA guidelines where your home will be built.
May I bring my own Blue Prints to build on my own land?
Yes! Walter Grey Homes builds with your plans, our plans, or a combination of the two.
Are garages included in the square footage on your floor plans?
No. Walter Grey square footage does not include garages, covered porches, or patios. Only air-conditioned areas are included in the estimated square footage of our homes.
Do you offer covered back porches?
Yes, many of our floor plans offer the option to add front and back covered porches. In our Barton Woods Community ALL floor plans include a covered back porch!
Where do I make my home accessory and color choices like carpet, lighting, paint, etc.?
Walter Grey Homes home price includes two –2-hour appointments at our Design Center with your personal, Design Professional.
Are the options shown on the floor plan the only options available?
No. The options shown are examples of most requested options. There are many more and you may have suggestions of your own!
Do I need a Real Estate Agent to buy a new home?
You don’t need an agent. Our Walter Grey New Home Sales Professionals are very knowledgeable about our homes, community, financing, and will walk you through the entire home buying process. However, we are happy to work with you and your agent if you choose. Please be sure your agent accompanies you to your first visit to Walter Grey Homes to fill out our Realtor Registration Form.
Does Walter Grey Homes offer a Warranty?
Yes. 1 year Builder’s Warranty, 2 year “behind the walls”, appliances from the manufacturer, and 10 year Texas Home Warranty for Structure and Foundation.
